We all enjoyed an ice lolly together in this hot weather. Thank you Mrs Logan for the lovely treat.

We have been using the traditional Japanese technique to transfer natural objects on to paper using a hammer.

We have been practicing our skill of pushing and gliding on the bikes. We are getting good at balancing on our bikes.

The EYFS children have been learning all about water safety this afternoon. We know we need to hold hand and take 2 steps back.

It was a very hot day today. Children made sure they stayed safe by wearing hats and exploring in the shaded areas.

We put up a hammock today and had a lovely time relaxing in the shade.

The children showed resilience in keeping their tent pegs in the ground today. Substituting pots and pans for hammers to secure them into the ground. We also found a snail and made him a nice home.

We made our own bread and enjoyed it with garlic butter or butter and jam.

The children had an amazing day looking at all the animals at the farm.

Today, we experimented with how different objects behave in water. We discussed which objects sink, which ones float and why!

In EYFS, we have been learning about Little Red Riding Hood. Today we had a try at building Little Red Riding Hood a new cottage in our outdoor area!

Our lovely trip to Wigfield Farm! At the farm, we got to explore different animals that live there and all the different ways that farms help us live! We even got to stroke and feed some of the animals after we potted our sunflowers.

We went to Forest school to draw some of our gorgeous blossom trees.

The children enjoyed hearing all about the importance of brushing their teeth today. They have all received a new toothbrush and toothpaste pack.

Don’t we look fantastic. We enjoyed making dens using our tables and blankets so we could curl up and read together.

We used mud and paint mixed together to create traditional African Mud Paintings.
