We have joined in with Activate with Joe Wicks this morning as part of our Children in Need day at school.

The F2 children joined in with the 2mins silence this morning to think about the soldier’s in the war.

The children have been doing some observational drawings on things they may see in the Autumn.

Using shapes to make pictures. We are focusing on shapes with 4 sides.

We spoke about how we keep safe on bonfire night as we sat round the fire pit. The children then went and made their own sparklers using sticks and leafs before enjoying a toasted marshmallow.

Developing listening and attention skills by playing stop start games with music and dance. We explored all the different ways to travel around the room and then cooled off with some gentle stretches.

We made toffee apples at forest school this week. #proudtobemvp

We have been partitioning the number 6 today.

We have been recognising Diwali in EYFS by having a party and enjoying some yummy food.

This week at forest school we put up a new swing. We used our gross motor skills to stay on the swing as it spun round and got faster.

We used the apples that have fallen off the trees to make food for any animals that may visit our area.
