So great to see some of the writing for pleasure that is happening at home with the Y2s! It looks and sounds great, we can’t wait to hear what happens next!

Today, Y2 have begun to learn about contractions in writing ✏️

Today we explored ebooks, what they are and how to use them to read together. We enjoyed practicing turning the pages!

Year 1 have explored some untuned instruments using symbols to make their rhythm.

The children have been looking at a the story ‘Where the wild things are’. They have looked at the structure of the story using a story mountain. We are now exploring the vocabulary and how we can adapt the story using our creative minds and more ambitious vocabulary to describe characters and settings. We can’t wait to start re writing the story with all our ideas!

Today in EYFS we explored how to roll clay flat and what tools to use when we want to make marks in our clay.

EYFS had a fantastic time learning about how to stay safe when near or crossing the road!

Year 1 have been looking at animal groups.

The children enjoyed hearing all about the importance of brushing their teeth today. They have all received a new toothbrush and toothpaste pack.

As part of our notation unit in music the children have been playing notes on the glockenspiel. The children have really enjoyed experimenting with high, medium and low notes.

Y4 Kingfishers enjoyed learning some Bollywood choreography, they were fantastic at following the moves and the music.

Today, y2 began to learn all about commas in a list

Great to see everyone in their celebration clothes today to recognise Eid!

We have been learning how to cross the road safely using Stop,Look, Listen and Think.

Today in PSHE, Y2 looked at our school environment and how we could improve it. We then designed our own classroom with all the things we need to be successful learners
