Human and Physical Geographical features of the Mediterranean
This week we put on our Geographical detective hats, we identified and classified human and physical features of some beautiful places in the Mediterranean. Fun fact… The Mediterranean includes over 20 countries! Some human features are: hotels, houses and restaurants. Some physical features are the beach, trees and the warm weather. We them had a lot of fun using the vocabulary to discuss our findings scoring points for the vocabulary we used.

During our visit to forest school the children helped to take care of the wildlife making bird feeders from twigs, cheerios and string.

Pizza production
After researching and planning to market pizzas, it was time to put our plans into action. The children worked collaboratively to make the dough and then make individual pizzas. They were amazing! Following the recipe, measuring ingredients, mixing, kneading, decorating and obviously tasting their yummy creations. Take a look at our cooking process, a very important part of this was safety, you will see the children using either a claw hold or a bridge hold to chop ingredient
